Twilight Wish Foundation

Thanks to the Twilight Wish Foundation, many seniors are no longer forgotten.

Twilight Wish Foundation

This was the first wish ever granted in Florida, in February, 2006. The gentleman on the left is a lifelong Cubs fan, and he had lunch with Jim Frey, who was the manager of the 1984 Cubs, who went to the playoffs.

The wish recipient (2nd from the right) needed extensive dental work. The dentist who provided the service (no charge!) is on the far right in the photo. Others in the photo are: Helen Hunter is on the far left, Gene Pertrucci, assistant director of the TWF is 2nd on the left and Jackie Borchers from the Collier County Sheriff's Office (she referred the client for the wish) is in the middle. This photo was taken in May, 2007.

The wish recipient fulfilled her lifelong dream of riding in a bi-plane (she had a 1 hour ride), and the services were donated by the pilot. He also provided the services of a second plane and pilot for her daughter to go for a short ride, so she could take photos of her mom in the air!! This photo was taken in July, 2007.

The wish recipient (on the left) had her wish fulfilled in May, 2008. She spent the day at the Hyatt Regency in Estero, having a series of spa treatments. The services were donated by the Hyatt and TWF. She is the main caregiver for her husband, who has Alzheimer's, and she wanted a day of pampering for herself. Millennium House in Bonita donated their services to provide adult day care for her husband. A local limo service provided the transportation for the couple. I am also in this photo, which was taken at her home in April, 2008.

This gentleman will have his wish granted on June 2, 2008, when he takes a ride on a sailboat. He grew up on a sailboat, and wants to experience being on the water again. A local gentleman is going to donate his services to give this client his wish.
