Each October Snead Cataract teams up with WOLZ 95.3 Radio and other business leaders to raise money for this worthy cause.  From 6a – 6pm Clear Channel radio devotes its on air time and talent to raising money for the Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.  Donations are phoned in, parents and their children who have been afflicted with this deadly disease come out and share stories of terror and triumph and purse strings suddenly become a little looser for the cause.  All monies donated at the radiothon and the many fundraisers throughout the year go directly to the Pediatric Oncology Unit and the Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida. Snead Cataract has been a proud sponsor of the Kids With Cancer Radiothon for five years and will continue to assist in the efforts to keep our children healthy and happy.
